We’ll Appreciate Gov Eno By Voting Tinubu, Akpabio, Others – Commissioner
Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr (Mrs) Offor, says the best way for Akwa Ibom women to show gratitude to Governor Umo Eno for the enormous opportunities given to them is to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Pastor Umo Eno and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the forthcoming 2027 election.
Dr Offor made the remarks while speaking during the Special Rotatory Monthly Meeting of the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Women’s Forum at Odoro Ikpe, the Ini Local Government Council Headquarters, where she rallied support for the APC candidates.
According to her, Governor Eno has helped women to maximise their God-given potential, especially in service through various appointive and elective positions, as well as the multiple empowerment opportunities women are major beneficiaries of.
The Agric Commissioner who also gave financial support to the women, called for continued unity among them in order so that the envisaged massive victory for Governor Eno and other APC candidates in the 2027 general election will be seamless.
She thanked the leadership of the women’s forum for the inclusive disposition while assuring that the Umo Eno administration will continue to put smiles on the faces of the women through various empowerment programmes, as well as the entirety of Akwa Ibom people.
The event was also attended by other women stakeholders across Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, including the International Women Coordinator of Arise With Renewed Hope and former Dean of Commissioners and Special Advisers, Dr Glory Edet, the Coordinator, Office of the Wife of the Executive Chairman of Ini Local Government Area, Dr (Mrs) Eme Esiere, wife of the Member representing Ini State Constituency, Deaconess Esther Udoide and the Vice Chairman of Ini Local Government Council, Mrs Veronica Effiong, among others. They all delivered goodwill messages at the programme.
