Agbeso Champions Purpose-Driven Leadership Across Business, Healthcare, Ministry
Amb. Kingsley Agbeso has said his leadership journey has been shaped by a commitment to service, innovation, faith and nation-building, as he continues to expand his influence across business, healthcare, humanitarian work, ministry and politics.
Agbeso, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kinseso Groups, said leadership should not be confined to a single profession but should be measured by the positive impact it creates in society.
Speaking on his career and vision, he said his goal has always been to combine professional excellence with service to humanity.
“Leadership is not about occupying positions. It is about creating opportunities, empowering people, serving God and humanity, and leaving a positive mark on society,” he said.
As CEO of Kinseso Groups, Agbeso said he has focused on driving innovation, digital transformation and sustainable business growth by adopting modern business practices and strategic planning.
He noted that organisations must embrace technology and adapt to changing market realities to remain competitive.
“The future belongs to organisations that are willing to innovate and embrace change,” he said. “Our vision has always been to build a business that creates long-term value while responding effectively to emerging opportunities.”
Beyond business, Agbeso said his background in healthcare and laboratory science has reinforced his commitment to improving lives through quality healthcare delivery and advocacy.
According to him, healthcare remains more than a profession.
“It is a calling,” he said. “Every opportunity to improve someone’s wellbeing is an opportunity to serve humanity.”
Agbeso also serves as an Apostle and Pastor at Bornfree Ministries, where he said he is committed to preaching the Gospel, mentoring believers and helping people discover purpose.
“My faith has shaped my approach to leadership. Compassion, integrity and service remain the foundation of everything I do,” he said.
His leadership experience also extends into politics. As the pioneer Secretary of the Allied People Movement (APM) Lagos Branch, Agbeso said he helped establish administrative structures and strengthen grassroots participation within the party.
He described political participation as another avenue for promoting good governance and national development.
Agbeso said humanitarian service remains central to his work, adding that he has supported community development initiatives, charitable programmes and projects aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.
He stressed that true success should be measured by the number of lives positively impacted rather than personal achievements alone.
“If our success does not improve the lives of others, then we have missed the true purpose of leadership,” he said.
Agbeso also highlighted mentorship as one of his lifelong priorities, saying he remains committed to supporting young professionals and emerging leaders through guidance, career development and knowledge sharing.
“Our responsibility is to invest in the next generation so they can become better leaders than we are,” he said.
His contributions have earned him fellowships and memberships in several professional organisations, recognising his commitment to ethical leadership, continuous learning and professional excellence.
As a United Nations Ambassador for Peace, Agbeso said he remains committed to promoting peace, unity, diplomacy and sustainable development through initiatives that foster social progress.
He acknowledged that his journey has not been without challenges but said resilience, discipline and unwavering commitment to purpose have enabled him to navigate obstacles across multiple sectors.
“Every challenge presents an opportunity to grow, learn and serve more effectively,” he said.
Reflecting on his career, Agbeso urged young entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, ministers, public servants and aspiring leaders to pursue excellence while remaining committed to service.
“Leadership is about making a lasting difference,” he said. “When our lives are driven by purpose, we create organisations that thrive, communities that flourish and future generations that are inspired to do even more.”
